Pastor Sequita G. Freeman<\/h3>\n

Pastor Sequita G. Freeman, the wife of Tony Freeman for 24 years, is the daughter of Betty and Emerson Smith and the late Clifford Moore, Jr.\u00a0 She accepted the call into the ministry in 1998 and has served as the Associate Pastor for Union Springs UMC in West Point, GA; Pastor for Louise UMC in LaGrange, GA; and,\u00a0\u00a0 Associate Pastor for St. Smyrna Baptist Church in Newnan, GA.\u00a0 Pastor Freeman completed License to Preach School through the United Methodist Church in 2002.\u00a0 She was ordained by the late Pastor J.W. Russell, Jr. in 2010.\u00a0 Pastor Freeman was born in LaGrange and graduated from LaGrange High School.\u00a0 She is also a graduate of LaGrange College with a bachelor and master\u2019s degree in Education.\u00a0 She completed her specialist degree in educational leadership from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA.\u00a0\u00a0 Pastor Sequita has served as an educator for 25 years as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and currently as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Troup County School System. Pastor Freeman and Tony have two sons, Sherrard and Jarious.\u00a0 She has additional siblings and family members. Pastor Freeman loves the Lord and serving his children.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her passion is based on Matthew 22: 37-40<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cJesus said to him, \u201cYou shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.\u00a0 This is the first and great commandment.\u00a0 And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.\u00a0 On these two commandments hang all the law and the Prophets.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

History<\/h3>\n

In 2007, God commissioned Minister Sequita G. Freeman, to start a church to minister to and shepherd the people in LaGrange, Ga. Matthew 28:19-20 was the commissioning scripture, \u201cGo and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.\u201d In 2008, He named the ministry \u201cImmanuel\u201d, God is with us as in Isaiah 7:14. He said the ministry shall be called Immanuel Ministries and the church Immanuel Worship Center. God assigned a group of God fearing, bible believing, and sanctified believers to lead in the launch of the Immanuel Ministries.<\/p>\n

Throughout the church, the vision has been to equip disciples to witness to the world through a purpose driven ministry. God is calling Immanuel Ministries to be one body where Christ is the head and there are many members. As one body, Immanuel Ministry is one member of the Universal Church, which believes in One God, One Faith, and One Baptism. God instructs us to go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. He also instructs us to teach the love of God, for God is love. He instructs us to worship Him in the beauty of holiness. God also instructs us to teach Christ and Him crucified. He instructs us to build our foundation on the Word of God found in the Holy Bible.<\/p>\n

God call Immanuel Ministries to be a Non-Denominational, non-traditional ministry called forth by God for His perfect will and His purpose. God promises that He is with us. He is our provider. Everything we need, He will provide. Therefore, we trust God for the manifestation of His vision for Immanuel Ministries. We will walk by faith and not by sight to see the salvation of our God.<\/p>\n
